Spring/Easter holiday break

In American universities and colleges, a Spring Break is a week long holiday sometime in March or April when many American students travel to warm beaches or take short trips to inland sights. In Germany, Easter Break  has been a two week holiday for our  partners on this blog.  What activities did everyone do during their breaks from school?
